The little things

so the summer is basically over. this was the first summer in a long time that we stayed home rather than taking a vacation. i must say, we survived..hah.

happenings over june-july:

~ i began playing harp

~ homeschool convention

~ witnessing on a few wednesdays

~ crafts

~ vbs

~ babysitting neighbors

~ graduation banquet

~ lauren lost her last teeth

~ driving practice

~ sweet 16!

~ i.d.e.a. museum

~ etc.

the summer has gone by quickly yet i find it exceedingly difficult to remember all that occurred in the beginning of june and even july. with little planned, there was much time for creativity and “spur of the moment” ideas.

enjoy this video of one of my favorite lil guys ever!

the moral of this post is, a plethora of memories were made right inside our town and backyard. besides, your real character shows when entertainment is not provided and you must utilize your imagination-even if it means creating a claw machine out of a cardboard box and a hanger (picture not shown for a very good reason).

“Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.”

~ Colossians 4:5

enjoy!
