there are so many unique ways to wrap a gift. by using creativity and resourcefulness, you never know what you might fabricate. i had a few candles to wrap and resolved to package them in something other than your typical gift bag, thus constructing the following homemade “gift-holders”.
this past weekend we attended the AFHE homeschool convention in phoenix. this time, however, we managed a booth for abiding radio.

we bought a couple of paper-mache butterflies from the craft store with the intention of painting them. however, i soon changed plans and decided to paper-mache the butterfly with an old newspaper and hang it in my room.

i was recently going through my closet and found a skirt which was definitely too short for me and probably wouldn’t even fit my sister. at first i thought i’ll throw or give it away, but then i realized the possibilities of what i could turn old skirt into.
this april was our first year attending the annual ATI family conference in big sandy, texas. we left after church on easter to drive 18 hours and arrive sometime on tuesday. between the few stops we made and dad’s speeding (he did receive a ticket while in texas!) we made it to the campus on monday evening.
