Oklahoma Part 1: Peach Festival!
Hey y’all! We just returned from Oklahoma where we spent a week making ice cream and memories. This post is all about our time at the Peach Festival in Stratford, OK. Once a year, folks come from far away to taste the delicious homemade peach ice cream made by the Burnett family. Well this year we shook things up a bit and took the John Deere ice cream makin’ machines to OK to assist our dear friends as they made 75 gallons of ice cream! Man was it fun! For more pictures visit the B’s site.

On Thursday (the festival was on Saturday), some of us got to ride in the Model T while it starred in the parade!
While at the Burnett’s, we learned how to play Settlers of Catan. What a stressful fun game!

Now it’s show time!

After all the festival hubbub, Lauren and I attended the rodeo with a few Burnetts and loved every minute of it! Minus the clown; someone needs to tie that guy up.
What a great time we had at the Peach Festival with the Burnetts! I’m ready to do it again next year!
“How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in its season
And its leaf does not wither;
And in whatever he does, he prospers.”
~ Psalm 1:1-3
