Final Week of the Bible Reading Plan

Wow! By God’s grace we read through the gospels this summer! I’m sure you all have been as blessed as I have been by reading the Bible. But this isn’t the end! I will continue to read my Bible each day, and I hope and pray that you will too. There is so much to learn and understand in God’s Word – we can’t stop now! There are many Bible plans out there similar to this one that will encourage you and strengthen you in your faith. I personally feel God directing me to start reading the book of Daniel. You can certainly read any part of the Bible that you would like, but if you aren’t sure about what to read next, I’ve listed some reading plans that you can follow if you choose to.

Here are some suggested plans:

~The book of Acts in 30 days (the beginning of the church):
~ One Psalm each day:
~ Chronological New Testament:
~ Read the books of the Bible chronologically (in 1 year):

Or you can do some research yourself and find another great plan. Another idea is to read one Proverb and five Psalms each day. You’ll complete both books in one month.

Just remember that we should read our Bibles because we love the Author! Not because we feel forced. If we read God’s Word with an unwilling heart, it will prove to be a waste of time.
As believers in Christ, we must continue in God’s Word for continual strength, encouragement, and guidance.

Also, it’s important that we not only read the Word, but put it into practice as well. Luke 6:47-49 says, “As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.”

Thank you all so much for participating in this reading plan, and for contributing your thoughts and encouragement. I’m so grateful for all of you and I pray that you will desire to continue in God’s Word.

“I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”

May God bless you as you abide in Him!
