A Prelude & A Party
so much has happened this past week and i’m taking a risk by attempting to fit everything into one post. oh well. here i go.
=======================================
monday:
the balkan family came over for dinner and us girls had a mini photo shoot.
the sun was setting which allowed for marvelous lighting (for about 15 minutes).
after that we just looked pink.

meanwhile, the sisters were…well…
and a little bit of..

we had a trailer full of (slightly moldy) hay from a hayride two years ago and henceforth the bales became props.

=========================================
thursday:
my first birthday gift arrived!! a 40-stringed lyon&healy prelude lever harp!!
i seriously could not wait for it to be delivered!
this was my first time seeing it. ever. i only knew it was black!
the floral detailing is gorgeous!

===============================
friday:
we picked up the balkans (again!) at about 1:30 for a weekend of fun to celebrate my birthday!
first stop: starbucks then nail salon!
then, we came home and ate snacks and played catch phrase!
that evening we set up a beauty salon (hair and makeup) before going out for dinner.
we also squeezed in a mini photo session.
5 & Diner for dinner!
after dinner, we came home and opened presents.

afterwards, we blew up balloons that had LED lights inside! so fun!

the rest of the nights escapade’s included facials and the sound of music!

=====================================================
for breakfast we dined on homemade belgian waffles..mmm
toppings:
then came cake!!
in the afternoon, yet another photo shoot was in order.
the ones who look more like siblings:

now for the outtakes. or as i like to call them, “personality-revealing photos”.

what a blessing it is to have like-minded friends that encourage you in your walk with The Lord! thank you to everyone who made my birthday (week!) soooo special!!
“His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.”
